When you have to put the book down just to get your emotions in check. When you have to put a book down just to get your breathing back to normal.
These Vampyr's are not your run of the mill, there is no other Vampyr book(s) out there that even come close to this book.

At first I really disliked Saber and felt sorry for Vanya. Than I felt sorry for Saber and all that he could have been if he had not been kidnapped. Than I really disliked Saber again. Back and forth I wrestled with my emotions. Very intense writing by Tessa Dawn pulled me into the story and never let me go.
There were some great sayings in this book, some that make you cry and some that you just laugh out loud and your family thinks you are losing it.

2-"Been there done that tossed the tee-shirt"!
3-"Damn...need attention much?"
4-Buy some Clairol for that hair"!
5-When Saber says, "Be well...mother."

7-When Rafael calls Saber on his anger, and he (Saber) asks him why they never searched for him...
The Bar scene is flat out falling off your chair laughing so hard!
This is not a HEA, I mean really 800 years of depravity does not change in 2-3 mnths. The ending is very touching and powerful and I am sure we will see more of these 2 as Saber becomes more humane, with the help of Vanya and their Son and the rest of the house of Jadon.
I give this book 5 Stars, but really one can not count all the stars in the Night Sky, that would be the real amount of Stars I would give this Book.

Caught by the House of Jadon and sentenced to death by sunlight doesn't die. What does this mean for him and the House of Jadon? There long lost stolen child is found and he is pure evil. Stuck in a cell the Blood Moon appears and Saber is given what most House of Jadon en long for, his destiny.

Vanya Demir, an original in birthright, sister to Jadon and Jaeger, everything good and pure. The Celestial Gods give her a destiny after 2000 years and it is Saber. Vanya has 30 days to get through to him before the blood curse takes him. How can she do this when no one in the House of Jadon wants her anywhere near this pure evil, including herself.

I read this book in a day and talk about a roller coaster of emotions, tears, laughing, pain and desire I felt it all. I hated Saber and could not believe the Gods could be so cruel but just when I was ready to write him off I felt for him, cried for him and hoped above all he could be redeemed. I was at war with my emotions and how I felt and though I should feel.

If you need a book that will keep you intrigues this is the book for you. This is not an easy read and will keep you enthralled the entire time. You will want nothing else to but see where this battle of good and evil takes you.

Tessa Dawn, I am amazed at your writing and look forward to your continued success. I can't get enough!
I received an early copy of this book for review and so very happy about it. Every time I read one of Tessa's books, I feel like it's a privilege, and like all the other books in the series, this one did not disappoint! Blood Redemption is a smooth, thought-provoking, "I'm stuck on the edge of my seat and cannot put this down" kind of story. And the spectacular twist (using a "Dark One" as the main character) was handled beautifully. I have to admit, I fell head over heels in love with Saber, and the way Tessa played off the nature versus nurture theme throughout really sealed the deal.

If you are tired of reading the same thing over and over, or you want a vampire story that has layers of depth beneath FANTASTIC storytelling, then I would highly recommend Blood Redemption. Oh, and for those who have read the series, the ending is something we've all been waiting for! Terrific!
Who would of ever thought a series could just get better and better with each book. ) This one definitely didn't disappoint. I was a bit nervous about Saber as he seemed to be a loose canon who was ticked off at the world. Taken from his real parents when he was just a infant and raised up in the House of Jaegar among the Dark Ones. Then we have Vanya. Here she was having been woken up from a deep sleep (seriously, it lasted for hundreds of years) along with her sister and never really knew quite where she belonged or even how to go about living in this modern world, which was so different from what she had known. I found the story between these two to be a very emotional ride. My heart broke for them both. One who was coming to terms (well the best he could if you could put yourself in his shoes) with learning that he wasn't who he thought he was and that his whole life had been a lie. The other felt duty bound, to serve her people and to do whatever she could to help. She never knew what it was like to think and feel for herself as her people always came first. They needed each other, although they didn't know it at the time. I won't give any spoilers away but they had a hell of a time getting to a good place not only with each other but themselves. I love the world Tessa Dawn has given us. This series is unlike anything else that is out there and Tessa can tell a hell of a story. If you haven't read this series, you should! I can't wait for the next one. Please tell me we don't have too long of a wait Tessa! )
